Tom Morse is founder of Legacy Properties West Sotheby's International Realty. His passion for the outdoors, respect for the western way of life and commitment to the protection of our natural resources brought him to Colorado with his wife Linda. This coupled with the understanding that there are many like-minded people, seeking a lifestyle of greater simplicity and purpose along with more time to enjoy their recreational interest, gave birth to the firm. The intention is to bring together a group of passionate and competent partners and associates, from multiple disciplines, to support individuals and families in realizing their lifestyle aspirations, by finding the finest ranches and recreational properties in the West to meet their needs. Prior to founding the company, Tom formed, developed and sold companies in publishing, financial services, business software and real estate development over a 35 year career. Tom and Linda also had the great privilege to volunteer for more than six years supporting the worldwide activities of both charitable and not-for-profit organizations. Cathy Craig is Managing Broker with Legacy Properties West Sotheby's International Realty. Growing up on a guest ranch in southwestern Colorado, Cathy lived adventures and experiences that most kids only dream about. Not only did this cement her love for the outdoors, trails, rivers and wildlife, but by virtue of hosting families from all corners of the globe, she understood at an early age, the true meaning of customer service.
After graduating from Colorado College with a degree in business, Cathy's professional career revolved around various aspects of the ski industry; working for ski manufacturers K2 and Lange and spearheading the sales and marketing for several resorts in Colorado and New Hampshire.
In 1997 Cathy moved back to Durango and formed the real estate brokerage at Durango Mountain Resort, specializing in second home resort property. As the Vice President and managing broker of Durango Mountain Realty, she was dedicated to helping her clients realize their second home dreams through knowledge, expertise and premier customer service. As a specialty brokerage, Cathy and her agents consistently ranked within the top 10 sales agents in the county and her brokerage was consistently one of the top performers in the Durango area.
In 2013 Cathy joined Tom, Linda and Zach Morse of Legacy Properties West, the top luxury real estate brokerage in southwest Colorado. As a team, they united with Sotheby's International Realty and formed Legacy Properties West Sotheby's International Realty.
She has served on various boards including the Durango Area Association of Realtors (treasurer, 6 years), Adaptive Sports Association, various home owner's association boards and local Parent Partners.
