How long have you been in the real estate industry, and why did you get into this business? I’ve been in Real Estate since 2005. I did an internship with a local Realtor my senior year at Fort Lewis and just fell in love with the industry.
What is your favorite thing about being a real estate broker? I love being part of our Team and supporting our Brokers so they can best assist their clients as they transition in and out of the Durango Real Estate Market.
What is something you have learned from being a real estate broker? Patience, Problem Solving, how to be a good Listener.
How long have you been in Durango and what brought you here? My husband and I moved to Durango in 2002. We spent time in Telluride during our honeymoon, drove through Durango to visit friends on our way back to Kansas, fell in love with the town, packed a u-haul and the rest is history!
What do you like to do outside of work? Mountain bike and ski with my husband and twin daughters.

What is one of your greatest personal accomplishments? I was in a trauma accident in 2003, have had 15 surgeries, recovered from the physical and emotional pain, and wrote a book to encourage others dealing with painful life events to focus on hope and recovery.
What are you passionate about? Writing a book and sharing my recovery story lead to speaking opportunities with middle and high school students on the topics of overcoming obstacles and having empathy towards others. I love opening up conversations with teens through public speaking and being there to answer their questions.
What is your favorite thing about living in the Southwest Colorado area? The climate and ALL the incredible outdoor activities we are blessed to have access to!
