Bluegrass music takes over Durango for the weekend, in three indoor venues in the historic district, and in restaurants and bars throughout town. Even in coffee shops, hotel lobbies and street corners... jamming musicians are everywhere. This small, well organized festival is a favorite for many of the performers.

The Durango Farmers Market is held every Saturday morning from the second week in May through the first weekend in October. The Balloons will light up the sky in the 500 block of Main Avenue where spectators can get up close and see the balloons in action. The glow will include candle sticks with are baskets without the balloons as well as fully inflated balloons. This is a family friendly free event.
